Brittany Levy, LCPC

Using my years of experience as a therapist, I strive to create sessions that allow people to feel both safe and open in sharing their stories with me. I am a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and exploratory therapist. I enjoy using humor, understanding, and experience to achieve this space.

I believe everyone is the expert in their own lives and therapy is a tool to increase understanding of yourself and the world around you. I'd like to work with you to find new ways to manage your world. I will work along side you to create change and understanding by recognizing patterns, identifying ways to overcome barriers, and finding alternative ways to make decisions in your life.

I treat each person I meet with an open mind, tailoring my therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of the individual. I utilize feedback and honesty, motivating my clients for action. Further information on therapeutic styles used can be found in the Services section.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Human Development/Family Studies from Indiana University. I earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults. I have worked in non-profit and private practice settings to treat psychiatric crises, outpatient substance abuse, and mental health services. I have experience and a skill set that provides knowledge to work with a variety of concerns.

In my free time I enjoy spending time exploring Chicago with my family and friends. I have many interests that range from reading at home to exploring my community and city. I value learning, bringing this desire for knowledge to my personal and professional life.
